Dr. Moiz Mohyuddin
Dr. Mohyuddin has been serving the Greater Pocono Area for over 40 years. In 1974, He moved to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania after completing his pediatric training at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Philadelphia General Hospital. Prior to that ,Dr. Mohyuddin trained and worked in England for six years as a pediatrician , where he also received his Diploma in Child Health in 1969.
Dr. Mohyuddin received his Bachelors of Science in 1955 from the University of Bombay and Doctor of Medicine from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan in 1961.
Dr. Mohyuddin is an attending pediatrician at the Pocono Medical Center since 1974., and a respected member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Pediatric Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Dr. Mohyuddin’s years of experience and genuine concern for patients is reflected by the fact that his patients children and grandchildren seek him as their children’s doctor. , Besides his love of Medicine, Dr. Mohyuddin is a devoted priest to his local religious community and a loving father and grandfather.
Dr. Ramlah Vahanvaty
Dr. Vahanvaty grew up as a teen in the Poconos and went to receive her Bachelor’s in Biology and Natural Science from Muhlenberg College, Pennsylvania in 1982. She obtained her Doctorate in Medicine from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan in 1987, and trained in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, from 1990 to 1993. She returned to the Poconos to join her father, Dr. Moiz Mohyuddin in private practice , and soon after, formed Zahra Pediatrics, LLC.
Dr. Vahanvaty is Board Certified in Pediatrics , a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a respected member of both the Pennsylvania Medical Society and Rotary Club of Stroudsburg. Along with a specialized interest in pediatric Asthma and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Dr. Vahanvaty has years of clinical experience in General Pediatrics . Her genuine concern for the well being of her patients allows her to provide nothing but the highest level of care.and make her a magnet for kids and parents alike.
She has been married to her husband Murtaza since 1989 and have 4 lovely children, Zahra, Shabbir, Alefiyah, and Taha. In her spare time, Dr. Vahanvaty loves to read, hike, travel and serve her community through Rotary.
